Every few months, we like to spotlight one of our wonderful Titan Tree Care team members.  This month, I’d like to introduce the President of Titan Tree Care, Ben Simcox.

Ben Simcox is the founder and President of Titan Tree Care LLC, providing professional tree care and tree maintenance services to both residential and commercial customers in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.  An ISA Certified Arborist, Maryland licensed Tree Expert, ASCA Consulting Arborist, father, avid fishermen, and an Ohio State fan, Ben started Titan Tree Care LLC with the goal of creating a successful tree care service business that continually puts the customer first.  Born and raised in a small town in Northeast Ohio, Ben learned from an early age about hard work, cutting and hauling firewood everyday with his father, which in time cultivated a love for the outdoors and arboriculture.  Moving to the Washington DC metro area after graduating from the Ohio State University with AAS degrees in Horticulture and Golf Course Management, Ben started Titan Tree Care in 2004 with little financing, but big goals of creating a successful business and a strong work ethic to make it happen.  In recent years Ben has gained a growing interest in healthy organic living after being diagnosed and surviving stage 3 colorectal cancer.  With a renewed perspective after his life threatening journey, he lives each day to the fullest with his wife and two beautiful daughters.  Ben enjoys hunting, golfing (he’s had two hole-in-ones!), travel, and of course spending time with his family.
