Titan Tree Care is a small local business in the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC area. We, like so many, are proud of our local communities we call home. This past Saturday September 19th, we joined so many around the world in a global effort to keep our communities clean by participating in World Clean Up Day. World Clean Up Day is a single day in which volunteers and partners worldwide come together to rid our planet of trash – cleaning up litter and mismanaged waste from our beaches, rivers, forests, and streets. In 2018, 18 million people across 157 countries and territories came together for the biggest waste collection day in human history. In 2019, the movement grew to 21.2 million people in 180 countries.
